BONAFIDE MAGAZINE - 23rd LEEDS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - THE PERN vs MIKE L

The doodle vs vinyl battle was pretty rad! It's pretty quiet on a monday night anywhere in a city, but there was a hussling and a bustling sound down at 'the nation of shopkeepers'

Hope we get to do it next year too.

Best Joined Up 29/10/09

Halloween Monster Smash
I don't normally paint skulls or draw them, but it was exciting and scary for me to do it like Halloween scary, so I thought why not? It could have turned out really bad, but i think i'm happy with her. Had a right good time! Big up all the other artists who were there too. Sune, Diaz 57, Betty Fishcake, Women 158, Jon Tolley, and Bodie for another great event. Happy Days.

On the 9th November at 'The Nation of Shopkeepers' with 'Bonafide magazine'

I will be painting live with pens and brushes with an audience battling it out with MIKE L Legendary DJ, Musician, Musical master! MAN VS WOMAN, INK VS VINYL!

I CAN"T WAIT! Better get my boxing boots, colourful socks, 12 oz gloves and a sweat on for this one! YOWCH!

This what i said when i tried it.
NOTE TO SELF: less lemon juice or none at all next time.
Just having some fun with plum jam i made, i thought if ever i was to be a 'jammy git' then i would have special labels with credits of who was involved in the process, where they were picked etc. Limited edition, one off jams with the year it was made too.You know, like wine. Finished product coming soon...

PARIS - 'PAINT OFF AT THE CARTIER FOUNDATION'

This was a bit mental, went to Paris on holiday, graffiti is really popular in galleries right now and everyone is getting involved. This exhibition was particularly good but 'non photos' DAMN! Legends exhibiting include SEEN, PHASE2, LADY PINK, JONONE, FLIP, AMAZE and loads more.
We painted outside... it was uber exciting and funny when posh people turned up in gucci handbags and cartier top to toe only to get covered in paint dust in the queue. ahahahahaha So sorry I may have ruined your £3000 outfit.

SHAKE AND SNAKE OR STEAK?

I made a snake, NOT a steak, a snake. For Logan the Dog. He loved it! More photos to follow tomorrow.
Hmmm side line of making dog toys for a living could be a possibility...
